It is believed that having Arowana in your home aquarium attracts money and happiness in the house. Unlike ordinary fish, you also would need to invest more in their tank when taking care of this beauty. They need an abundance of space with a low light setting to mimic their natural environment where they are native in the Amazon River. These fish tends to jump on aquariums, this display of behavior is natural to them when they hunt for their prey in the wild.
Albino Silver Arowana
The silver arowana (Osteoglossum bicirrhosum) is a South American freshwater bony fish of the family Osteoglossidae. Silver arowanas are sometimes kept in aquariums, but they are predatory and require a very large tank. The generic name Osteoglossum means "bone-tongued" and the specific name bicirrhosum means "two barbels" (from the Greek language).
Rocket Gar
This carnivorous predator, fast yet timid, feeds mainly on small fish. It spends most of its time in the upper layer of the water, very near the surface, in small schools that tend to become smaller as individuals grow and separate.
The Platinum Alligator Gar is a stunning freshwater fish that is suitable for big aquariums. The Platinum gar and its snow alligator gar variety is in great demand especially in Japan and China, this makes the platinum gar a very rare fish. While the alligator gar (Atractosteus spatula) is a common fresh water fish in North America. Alligator gar is related to the bowfin in the infraclass Holostei /hoʊˈlɒstiaɪ/. It is the largest species in the gar family, and among the largest freshwater fishes in North America. It is a prehistoric looking fish and is often referred to as "living fossils" or "primitive fishes" because it has retained the characteristics of their earliest ancestors, such as the ability to breathe air and water.
